Meet the 'Oshozondi' Shaku Shaku champion, who dreams of teaching the dance to Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Usher

Slimcase had never seen so many people
working in a news room. He was astonished
with the number of computers that greeted
him as he stepped into the Pulse office
space. “Awon temi Shashe,” he spoke in
Yoruba, which translates into “my people who
are running things.”
It was a slang that was popular on the
streets of Lagos mainland, which referred to
people with laptop computers, perpetuating
internet frauds, and robbing people of
millions of dollars.
But it wasn’t his fault. Slimcase is from the
streets, and at the moment, his songs
Oshozondi’ and ‘Shepeteri’ are currently
pushing for mainstream penetration as part
of the viral ‘Shaku shaku’ movement and
wave currently dominating Nigerian music.
“I thank God,” he says. “ This is my first time of
being in this situation. To do something that the
world is listening to. It makes me feel fulfilled.”
He is a happy man through and through.
First he hugged me with excitement, declaring
his love and respect for my craft. He was
smiling from one end of his mouth to another
as he looked to the heavens and said: “I
didn’t know that I will meet a celebrity like you.
I watch your show all the time, and I ask
myself, when would you talk about me?”
He continues to shake my hand, and declare
his admiration. He isn’t accustomed to
mainstream coverage. Seeing himself walk
into the Pulse office and meet with me is a
personal mark of achievement. When I lead
him to the studio, and offer him a seat in
front of the camera, he feigned disbelief.
“So you, Joey Akan, wey sabi dis entertainment,
wan interview me like dis so?” he asked.
“Yes,” I replied, embarrassed and pleased at
the same time. This level of honesty and
simplicity is sorely lacking in the music
industry. It was new to me.
Before we started the conversation, he
hesitated for a bit and muttered something
under his breath. Concerned, I ask him what
the problem is.
“Your English is too much. You know say we na
street. Take am easy,” he pleads.
I smiled at how inconsiderate I was, and gave
him permission to flow in pidgin. On my part,
I promised to water down my ‘phonetics’.
Early Life and Discovery of Music
Slimcase, born Oluwafemi Oladapo Oko-Eko,
on August 21, 1985, grew up in Ikorodu, a
place on the fringes of life in Lagos state. He
was schooled and raised by the streets, where
he honed his talent as a comedian. At the
start of his career, music was a distant
dream, one that he had never considered. He
was a funny guy, who had designs to cash in
on that. And so he began, performing for
friends, family members, and the odd social
gathering. But music found him.
Slimcase stumbled upon the art by chance in
2011. His friend, who he refers to as ‘Beat by
Sars’, (not to be confused with Sarz on the
beat'), was the first person to ever record his
vocals for a song in Akoka, in a dingy studio
near the prestigious University of Lagos
(UNILAG).
“I loved his productions, and without voicing to
the beats, I had the urge to be a musician. His
beat was so banging, that I wanted to record on
it,” he says
His friend encouraged him, choosing to tell
him that “with this your style, you can just put
something on the beat.” Slimcase started
recording as a rapper, due to his early Hip-
hop influences, where he followed records
made by luminaries such as Eminem, Snoop
Dog, 50 Cent and Dr Dre and others.
Oshozondi, Discovering The Shaku Shaku
Sound, And Prominence
Back in 2017, Nigeria welcomed a relatively
new artist by the name of Small Doctor. The
singer was announced by his street record,
‘Penalty’, which found a way to cross into
mainstream recognition, and accelerated his
brand.
Small Doctor made music with a very
interesting sound, which was rooted firmly in
South African House, but with lesser
emphasis on percussion, and more on
intrusive drum breaks. ‘Penalty’ shot the
singer to prominence, where his stock grew
meteorically. By the end of the year, it would
feature as one of 2017’s top record.
Olamide would later utilize that ‘street sound’
and formula to create ‘Wo’, a record produced
by Young Jonn, which stylistically obeys all
the rules of Small Doctor’s successful record.
‘Wo’ would become the dominant street song,
heading into the holiday season, and into the
New Year.
But away from the mainstream music
industry, new songs following that specific
sound were dominating the streets. Songs
such as Mr Real’s “Legbegbe”, Idowest’s
“Omo Shepeteri” (featuring Slimcase and
Dammy Krane), Slimcase’s “Oshozondi”,
Zlatan Ibile’s “My Body” (featuring Olamide)
and others were holding the attention of the
public.
Backed by a dance style called ‘Shaku shaku’,
the songs were growing and attracting major
attention.
The Wobe sound is primarily a cross between
the South African House and Qgom sound.
It’s a hybrid sound which focuses on the
heavy drums as its most distinct feature.
Percussion, if it ever makes it into the record
is limited, with the arrangement designed to
make the drums emphatic enough to make
people move.
That’s the sound that Slimcase is utilizing to
rise beyond his station in Nigerian music.
“Shaku shaku has been around for a while on
the streets, but nobody paid attention to it,”
Slimcase says. “It originated from the Mushins
and Ageges of Lagos, and no one knew how to
tap into a sound for the dance.
“Until I drop this song titled ‘Oshozondi’, and
showed them that they can vibe that dance to
this song. It created a standard for them which
showed that this sound really goes with the
dance. It made me prominent. I didn’t start the
dance, my song created a platform for the
dance.”
Describing how he got the other record,
‘Shepeteri’, he says: “It’s a downloaded beat.
The chorus kept coming, and we decided to just
drop it. It wasn’t a single, it was just a mixtape
song. In three weeks, it was everywhere. In two
months, we saw Davido dancing to the song.”
Street Life And The Originality Of The ‘Lamba’
I ask Slimcase about the intricacies and
dynamic of street music, and he pauses for a
while. Deep in thought for a minute, I witness
his little conflict of emotion but don’t
interrupt it. How can you ask a man to
explain his ecosystem, and not wait for him
to collect himself?
Slimcase finally reached an agreement with
himself, raised his head, cleared his throat,
and shared it with me.
“The hustle is real. The hustle is so real that you
cannot fake in the street. It’s either you are in
the street or you are not in the street at all. You
have to go to the street, to write a street song.
You can’t sit in Lekki and write a street song.
You have to go to the den, and sit down in the
den. Even if you don’t join them in their acts,
you have to be there,” he says.
He explains that the best comedians and
creatives in Nigeria are grilled and
manufactured by the streets. He explains how
‘real’ the street is, and how everyday life and
slangs (which he refers to as ‘Lambas’) can
be turned into elements of pop culture.
Slimcase also explains that street artists are
primarily inspired by Fuji music.
“Most of them hardly listen to Hip-hop, and if
they do, they can’t relate to it. That’s why they
created their own language and their music. The
lamba is what they understand,” he says.
Slimcase further explains that due to the
poverty and lack of street exposure, the
original elements of the street are hijacked
and appropriated by pop musicians who have
a larger following, and bigger platforms. He
declines to mention any specific name, but
explains:
“These celebrities can’t come to the streets and
identify with people because of who they are.
Most of them go on Instagram, and also watch
Youtube videos. They will gather ideas from
these things and create their records,” he
explains.
Slimcase says the lack of censorship and the
crudity of the street ‘Lamba’ has been a
hindrance in the export of the music to
mainstream audiences via radio and TV. This
creates a barrier, which is exploited by pop
artists.
“They take these songs clean them, and release
it as their own. It has also happened to me,” he
says.
The way forward for him, is for street artists
to practice self-censorship to end this
practice.
D’banj, Yemi Alade And The Blessings Of
Shaku Shaku
Slimcase is having a ball right now. With the
explosion of the Shaku Shaku movement, life
has somewhat changed for him. He has seen
his stock rise considerably, with many
mainstream stars reaching out to him for
collaborations. Already, he has worked with
Afro-pop superstar, D’banj on a new record
titled ‘Issa Banger’.
“Wow!” he screamed in disbelief while talking
about D’banj. “Me, Slimcase, work with
D’banj!!”
Slimcase also has featured on a DJ Enimoney
record titled ‘Diet’. Interestingly, the single
also features Reminisce, and African pop
queen, Tiwa Savage. He also has another
record with Yemi Alade, titled ‘ Shakpati’ .
The Future Of Shaku Shaku
Slimcase is dreaming big. He isn’t limiting
the Shaku Shaku sound to just Nigeria or
Africa. He believes that he can champion this
genre, and export it across the oceans, down
to American pop markets.
“You know what I see? I see Nicki Minaj and
Beyonce dancing Shaku Shaku, and I’m there in
their middle, teaching them the dance,” he says.
“My vision is to take the song and sound to the
world, make records, and have my name
stamped on it.
“I’ll keep doing it until I knock the door of
Beyonce, someday, or Usher Raymond dancing to
a song that we have collaborated on.”
To wrap up the interview, he grabs a phone,
and proceeds to perform a min-skit, starting
with his alter-ego name 'Saint Sami Ganja',
and speaking in Lambas and Yoruba. As we
conclude, he asks for a photo, and whisper
into my ears, “This is just the starting point.”
I believe him.

‘North ready to debate Nigeria’s existence, restructuring’ – Ango Abdullahi

The Spokesman of Arewa Consultative
Forum, Prof. Ango Abdullahi has expressed
the North’s readiness to debate whether
Nigeria should remain as a country or not.
Abdullahi added that some Nigerians believe
the regions making up the country were
mistakenly put together by the British
colonialists.
The ACF chieftain told ThisDay Newspaper:
“The issue of restructuring, of course, is a
subject that we’re ready to discuss with
anyone. The issue of the country and its
existence is also an issue that we’re
prepared to discuss with anyone who
questions the very basic need for having the
country as it is now; because there are some
people who are arguing along those lines
that Nigeria, ab initio, had been mistakenly
put together by the British. Although some
clergymen say it is God; it’s not God. It is
the creation of the colonial masters.”
The ACF chieftain also claimed that many
members of Boko Haram terrorists were
graduates and PhD holders, arguing that the
primary cause of the group’s emergence was
not its hatred of Western education.
“The Boko Haram phenomenon has nothing
to do with Western education. It has never
been the basis of its coming into existence.
Many of the members of Boko Haram are
graduates; many active members of Boko
Haram are graduates. Also, I can tell you
that some of them are PhD holders. So, it
has got nothing to do with Western
education,” the elder statesman said
Abdullahi stated further that the collapse of
the country’s socio-economic structures,
rather than aversion for Western education,
was what inspired the insurgency, pointing
out that a number of the terrorist group’s
leaders were from Kogi State.
Abuja Civil Servant Discovers Herbs that

He said: “It has more to do with the manner
in which the socio-economic structures of
the country are being managed. The areas
where there is easy recruitment of Boko
Haram members are the poorest areas of
this country –North-east. But it might
interest you to know that quite a number of
the active leadership of Boko Haram is from
Kogi State. It has nothing to do with
Western education; in fact, many of the
Boko Haram members are more educated
than those who claim to have had Western
education. “The crisis of Boko Haram –
either the current type or the future type of
Boko Haram –that this country will end up
having must be related to our willingness to
manage this country so that we avoid all
those ingredients that cause disaffection,
anger, and distrust.”
In addition, he also condemned how
Nigeria’s political office holders often
displayd their wealth in the midst of abject
poverty, warning that a “new” Boko Haram
will emerge if the nation’s resources was
continued to be mismanaged by the leaders.
“Seeing people affluently mismanaging our
resources to the detriment of the majority
that are wallowing in abject poverty; this is
what will breed either new Boko Haram or a
new version (of extremists) in the future
unless something is done about it.
“The level of unemployment of graduates in
this country is frightening and this is a
recruiting ground for the banditry we’re
witnessing in our society today,” he said.

According to Mohammed: ”The PDP has
challenged us to name the looters under
their watch. They said they did not loot the
treasury.
“I am sure they know that the treasury was
looted dry under their watch. Yet they
decided to grandstand. This shows the
hollowness of their apology to Nigerians.
Let us just give them a teaser.
“This list is just a tip of the iceberg, and
the PDP is aware of this. We did not make
these cases up. Many of these cases are in
court and the records are available. Some
of the people on this list are seeking a plea
bargain, and that is a fact.
“We insist that Nigeria was looted blind
under the watch of the PDP, and the
starting point in tendering an apology is for
them to return the loot.
“It is like a robber admitting to stealing
your car and apologising, but saying he
will keep the car. It doesn’t work that way.
“The PDP is a hypocrite. And that reminds
me of what English writer William Hazlitt
said: ‘’The only vice that cannot be forgiven
is hypocrisy. The repentance of a hypocrite
is itself hypocrisy.
“We will not stop talking about the massive
looting by the PDP. They brought Nigeria to
this sorry state. We are now looking for
loans to build infrastructure, and they
asked us not to talk about it. We will talk
about it.”
Apology decoy to capture power
Meanwhile, the Presidency, yesterday, said
the apology of the PDP was not genuine.
Consequently, it urged Nigerians to be
cautious of it.
A statement by the Senior Special Assistant
to the President on Media and Publicity,
Malam Garba Shehu said the PDP should
return its alleged loot.
The statement reads: “The PDP is desperate
to recapture power because it no longer
has unhindered access to national
resources for private uses and its apology
should be seen in this context.
“The PDP has not even acknowledged the
fact that it plundered the national
economy. And for a party that dismissed
the anti-corruption war as a political witch
hunt, it is impossible to believe that its
public apology comes from the bottom of
the heart.
“Even desperate thieves apologise because
they are caught and not because they are
incapable of repeating the crime if they had
another opportunity.
“We believe that the PDP should not only
apologize for the imposition of candidates,
and the culture of impunity, but must also
come clean and acknowledge that they
participated in large-scale corruption and
massive diversions of public funds to
private pockets while poverty was ravaging
the ordinary Nigerians.
“We challenge individual PDP leaders to
publicly and voluntarily tell Nigerians how
much they stole.
“Apology borne by desperation to recapture
power without a desire to admit how much
they stole and the reluctance to return the
loot is morally hollow. This goes beyond
rebranding. Nigerians are not interested in
brands. They want their money back.
“For such apology to gain acceptance, the
offenders must first show remorse and
return that which was unlawfully taken or
restore the damage caused the nation and
commit to never doing the wrong they did
again. The PDP has done none of these for
them to be taken seriously by anyone.”
List is laughable, misleading—PDP
Reacting to the statement the PDP
dismissed the list  as laughable.
The party in a statement by its National
Publicity Secretary, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan
challenged the government to come up with
names of its member convicted for looting.
The statement reads: “The federal
government has manifested its frenzy by
going after matters that are in court and in
which none of the persons have been
convicted, thus betraying their wickedness
and desperation to mislead the public, the
court and divert attention from the heavy
looting involving their members.
“We are not in doubt that the individuals
he has mentioned will take their legitimate
stride and pursue appropriate action in the
court. However, attacks on individuals who
are members of our party do not in anyway
change the fact that the PDP, as a political
platform, is not a party of corruption.
“It is unfortunate that the APC and its
government under whose watch horrendous
sleazes are happening on daily basis can
spend three years searching for flimsy
allegations to discredit our party.”
PDP offloaded looters to APC—Fayose
Similarly, Ekiti State governor, Mr. Ayo
Fayose lampooned Vice President Yemi
Osinbajo, over what he described as the
continuous attack on the PDP over alleged
corrupt practices.
Fayose said: “Today, the most difficult
question any student can be asked to
answer in an examination is to list five
landmark achievements of the government
in which Prof Osinbajo is the Vice
President.
“Today, even prosecution witnesses are
suddenly disappearing in corruption cases
involving those who have defected to the
APC and properties once seized are being
returned to them. Obviously, PDP has
purged itself of corrupt elements in its fold
and offloaded them to the APC.”

The Story of Esther

Long ago, in a country called Persia
(Babylon), there was a king named
Achashveyrosh (as known in Jewish...
His Persian name was Xerxes) and a
queen named Vashti. King
Achashveyrosh ordered his wife the
queen to appear before him at a party so
he could show everyone how pretty she
was. When she refused, the king was
furious.
To make matters worse, a rather nasty
man named Haman was one of the
King's advisors. Haman teased the king
that if word got around, no one's wife
would think she had to listen to her
husband. At Haman's urging, King
Achashveyrosh ordered that his wife be
put to death.
King Achashveyrosh wasn't happy for
long without a queen, so he ordered a
search through the kingdom for a
beautiful girl to be his bride. It wasn't
too long before the King's scouts
happened upon Esther. Esther was
beautiful, gracious and kind -- just what
the king was looking for. In no time at
all, Esther was married to the king.
Now Esther was a Jew. The Jews had
been driven out of Israel, their home,
about 70 years before and exiled in
Persia. Although they did there best to
make a living in this strange land, they
prayed that someday they would be able
to return to their home. Esther's uncle
Mordechai, was the leader of the Jews.
Mordechai encouraged Esther to hide her
faith from the King and his advisors,
which she did.
Haman had, by this time, become a
powerful man in the kingdom - Prime
Minister of Persia in fact. He decided
that given his rise in power, it would be
appropriate for everyone to bow down to
him. But Mordechai refused to bow
down to him. Haman was very angry
and asked the King to authorize a royal
decree to annihilate the Jews.
Haman cast lots to determine the day
this was to happen. And so it was
decreed that in Adar of the coming year,
on the 13th day of the month, all the
Jews were to be killed, in every province
and every nation of the land. There
would be no place to run, and no place
to hide.
This is where our brave Queen Esther
comes into the picture -- Mordechai,
having found out about Haman's evil
intentions, sent
Esther a message. He told her what
Haman was plotting and asked her to go
to the King on the Jews behalf.
Esther was afraid. She hadn't been
allowed to see the King for a month. In
fact, no one could see him without being
invited. But she fasted and prayed for
three days, mustered up her courage and
went to see the king. Although he was
initially angry at her, King
Achashveyrosh spared her life and
offered "half my kingdom for your
wishes,"
All she asked was that the King and
Haman join her for dinner that night.
As they were drinking wine, the king
again asked Esther, "Now what is your
request? Even up to half the kingdom, it
will be granted." Esther replied, "My
petition and my request is this: If the
king regards me with favor and if it
pleases the king to grant my petition and
fulfill my request, let the king and
Haman come tomorrow to the banquet I
will prepare for them. Then I will answer
the king's question." Of course, both the
King and Haman agreed to attend a
second banquet with the lovely young
Queen.
Haman was very pleased that he'd been
asked to dine with Achashveyrosh and
Esther two nights in a row and was filled
with pride.  But then he saw Mordecai at
the king's gate and still Mordecai
refused to bow to him.  Haman was filled
with rage. He decided that night to build
a gallows with which to hang Mordechai
and planned to speak to the king about
it the very next morning. That way, he'd
have the whole matter dealt with during
the day and be able to enjoy the next
evening's banquet in peace.
That same night the king could not
sleep; so he ordered the book of the
chronicles, the record of his reign, to be
brought in and
read to him.  The book was turned to the
day Mordecai exposed a plot to
assassinate the King. The King was
reminded of this tale and asked what
reward Mordecai had received. The
king's attendants told him that nothing
had been done for Mordecai.
The next morning, just as Haman was
arriving to ask that Mordecai be hanged
the king asked him, "What should be
done for the man the king delights to
honor?" Haman, still filled with pride,
mistakenly thought the king was
referring to him. So he answered the
king, "For the man the king delights to
honor, have them bring a royal robe the
king has worn and a horse the king has
ridden, one with a royal crest placed on
its head.  Then let the robe and horse be
entrusted to one of the king's most noble
princes. Let them robe the man the king
delights to honor, and lead him on the
horse through the city streets,
proclaiming before him, `This is what is
done for the man the king delights to
honor!'"
Imagine Haman's shock when the King
commanded, "Go at once. Get the robe
and the horse and do just as you have
suggested for Mordecai the Jew, who
sits at the king's gate."   Haman obeyed
the king, of course, but not happily!  He
was very upset that Mordecai, his enemy,
was being honored by the king.
Immediately after leading Mordecai
around the city proclaiming, "This is
what is done for the man the king
delights to honor!", Haman had to go to
the banquet with the King and Queen.
Finally Esther shared the secret of her
faith and proclaimed herself a Jew. She
begged the king to spare her people.
Harbona, one of the king's attendants
told the king of the gallows that Haman
had built to have Mordecai hanged. The
king was furious with Haman and
ordered that he be hanged on those
gallows. Haman's pride and cruelty had
led to his own destruction and the brave,
young Esther had saved her people.

12 Study Tips
to Achieve your
Goals in 2018
Posted on January 3, 2018 by admin
For many of us, the new year represents the
perfect opportunity to reflect on where we are,
think about where we’d like to go, and make a
plan for how we can get there.
This is particularly true of students that are
looking to make the most of their study
time and get better grades at school.
That’s why we’ve put together a list of
study tips to help you develop a learning
strategy that will allow you to achieve your
study goals in 2018.
12 Study Tips that will
Boost your Results
1. Set Study Goals
There is lots of credible research
suggesting that goal setting can be used as
part of a strategy to help people
successfully effect positive changes in their
lives, so never underestimate the power of
identifying to yourself the things you want
to achieve. Just make sure to ask yourself
some key questions : Am I setting realistic
goals? Will I need to work harder to achieve
those goals? If you’re happy with the goals
you’ve set then you should aim to develop
your study plan for the year ahead with
your goals in mind. Which, as it happens,
leads us to Tip #2!

Tips for 2018!

to Study Groups and Resources that we’ll
provide you with a stream of study tips for
exams and ideas to improve your studying.

2. Make a Study Plan
Time is precious. Nobody is more aware of
this than the poor student who hasn’t
studied a thing until the night before an
exam. By then, of course, it’s too late. The
key to breaking the cycle of cramming for
tests is to think ahead and create an
effective study plan . Not only will this help
you get organised and make the most of
your time, it’ll also put your mind at ease
and eliminate that nasty feeling you get
when you walk into an exam knowing that
you’re not at all prepared. As the old
saying goes, fail to prepare and be
prepared to fail.
3. Take Regular Study Breaks
None of us are superhuman, so it’s
important to realise that you can’t maintain
an optimum level of concentration without
giving yourself some time to recover from
the work you’ve put in. This can take the
form of a ten-minute walk, a trip to the
gym, having a chat with a friend or simply
fixing yourself a hot drink. If it feels like
procrastination, then rest assured that it’s
not: taking regular short breaks not only
help improve your focus, they can boost
your productivity too.
4. Embrace New Technologies
Studying no longer means jotting things
down with a pen on a scrap of paper. The
old handwritten method still has its place
of course, it’s just that now there are more
options for personalising study that ever
before. Whether it’s through online tools,
social media, blogs, videos or mobile apps,
learning has become more fluid and user-
centred. If you want to try a new learning
technology, GoConqr’s free platform is a
great place to start, even if we do say so
ourselves!
5. Test Yourself
It’s a strange thing, but sometimes simply
entering an exam environment is enough to
make you forget some of the things you’ve
learned. The solution is to mentally prepare
for the pressure of having to remember key
dates, facts, names, formulas and so on.
Testing yourself with regular quizzes is a
great way of doing this. And don’t worry of
you don’t perform brilliantly at first – the
more you practice, the better you’ll become.
Don’t believe us? Then just take a peek at
what the experts have to say .
6. Find a Healthy Balance
Take this opportunity to evaluate yourself
both physically and mentally. Is your
engine running on low? Instead of
complaining “I never get enough sleep” or
“I’m eating too much convenience food”
take control and do something about it!
Make the change and see how it positively
affects your attitude and study routine.
This should motivate you to maintain a
healthy balance in the future.
7. Be Positive
Your attitude has a big impact on the level
of study that you get done and the
effectiveness of your learning process. If
you keep saying that you can’t do it and
won’t commit to the idea of learning,
attempting to study is only likely to become
more difficult. Instead, focus your mind on
positive outcomes and on how you can use
your own individual strengths to achieve
them . When you think positively, the reward
centres in your brain show greater activity,
thereby making you feel less anxious and
more open to new study tips.
8. Collaborate with Study
Partners
At this stage of the school year, you should
know your classmates pretty well. This is a
good point in time to select a couple of
study partners who you know you work well
with and are motivated to achieve good
grades also. Don’t worry if you can’t meet
up too often, you can use online tools such
as GoConqr’s Groups tool to communicate
and share study notes with one another.
9. Turn lessons into stories
Everybody likes to read or listen to a good
story, and with good reason – not only do
stories entertain us, they help us to
understand and memorise key details too.
You can apply this to your studies by
weaving important details or facts into a
story – the more outlandish and ridiculous
you can make it, the better (since you’ll be
more likely to remember a particularly
crazy story).
10. Establish a Study Routine
Your study routine is comprised of more
than planning what to learn and when. One
of the main concerns is your study
environment.
Find a place to study that is quiet and with
few distractions. Alternatively, you could
also try switching it up by sitting in a
different place in your school library every
day and seeing how this works for you.
11. Mark Small Challenges
When you have to face very long and dense
subjects, you can set small challenges to
keep your spirits high; a good way to focus
on the day-to-day and find motivations
while you study. According to scientific
analysis, the more motivated and excited
we are, the better our brain performs.
12. Consult teachers
Any questions you have about the exam,
the best you can do is go to the teacher of
the subject and expose your doubts. Not
only is the person best suited to solve your
questions, but your initiative will be well
received and you’ll show goodattitude by
demonstrating that you’re interested in his
subject.
There really aren’t any hard and fast rules
to play by when it comes to best times for
studying or how long you should work for.
Everybody is different, so the best way to
establish a routine is to try different things
and see what works best for you, then
modify your routine for maximum learning
effectiveness.
